Day 1

Arrive Istanbul

Arrive at Ataturk airport in Istanbul, meet our greeter and transfer to your hotel. Overnight: Istanbul

Day 2

Full Day Istanbul Tour (B)

09.00 a.m. After breakfast, pick up from hotel and our journey begins in Istanbul, the only city in the world situated on two continents. We visit the Topkapi Palace including Harem, The Blue Mosque and Hippodrome where chariot races and the Byzantine riots took place. Then we’ll visit the Underground Cistern. At the end of the day visit the Grand Bazaar for shopping. Overnight: Istanbul

Day 3

Full Day Istanbul Tour (B)

08.30 a.m. After breakfast, pick up from hotel. First visit Hagia Sophia the Byzantine church which was converted to a mosque in 15th century. Continue to Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar): The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme etc. Later we will join a boat trip on the Bosphorus, a traditional excursion by boat along the waterway separating Europe and Asia. The shore is lined with old wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight: Istanbul

Istanbul (B)

Free day at leisure.

Day 5

Istanbul - (by flight) Izmir - Ephesus Tour – Kusadasi (B, D)

Pick up from hotel and transfer to airport for morning flight to Izmir. Arrive in Izmir Airport, meet your guide and drive to Ephesus (45 minutes drive). First visit the Artemission Temple which is one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World. Continue to Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of Ionia and one of the best preserved classical city of the Eastern Mediterranean dated back to 2000 years. After Ephesus visit, you can see some of the traditional carpet weaving techniques and enjoy viewing some splendid displays of beautiful carpets a local handicrafts center. Afternoon visit House of Virgin Mary. This house is located on the Aladag Mountains 5 miles from Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council of 431 in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. Transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Overnight: Kusadasi

Day 6

Kusadasi - Pamukkale Tour (3, 5 hours drive) (B, D)

After breakfast we’ll drive to Pamukkale, on the way visit Aphrodisias which was primarily known as the center for the arts, specifically sculpture. The Aphrodisias School of Sculpture had a distinctive style and was very well circulated throughout the Greek and Roman world. Upon arrival in Pamukkale we’ll discover Hierapolis and the travertine terraces: one of the most spectacular natural wonders and the unique natural site of white limestone terraces cascading down the mountain slope. Overnight: Pamukkale

Day 7

Pamukkale - Konya (4,5 hours drive) (B)

Today we will depart to Konya, city where Mevlana Rumi is buried, founder of the most well-known Sufi order, Mevleviye. In Konya, we will visit the Mevlana Museum. Then proceed to Karatay Theological School in which beautiful tiles are on display. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight: Konya

Day 8

Konya - Cappadocia Tour (4,5 hours drive) (B)8

Drive to Cappadocia. En route visit Sultanhan Caravanserai; caravanserais are inns built by Seljuk Turks to ensure the travel and trade safety of the merchant caravans traveling on the Silk Road. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia

Day 9

Cappadocia Tour (B)

Optional balloon tour (Suggest to book 3 months before visit)

After breakfast tour Kaymaklı Underground City, one of the most interesting underground settlements in Cappadocia. Continue to Soğanlı Valley, an Open Air Museum in a wild natural setting near a typical Cappadocian village with its different style Rock-Cut churches and frescoes. Lunch break and visit to Sahinefendi newly discovered (01 May 2002) mosaic houses & Archaeological excavation site. Continue with Keslik Monastery near Cemil, that hides its frescoes behind a very thin smoke layer which we can only see by torch light. Our tour finishes with a visit to Mustafapaşa (Sinasos), an old Greek town with its spectacular old Greek houses; very fine examples of late Greek settlements and architecture. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia

Day 10

Cappadocia Tour (B)

Today meet the famous lunar landscape of Cappadocia: rock formations beyond belief in Devrent valley, a journey in the past with its troglodyte houses, visit to Pasabag "fairy chimneys" where the voice of wind mixes with the "songs of fairies" near Zelve. Lunch break in Avanos, centre of terra cotta work of art since 3000 BC, and a demonstration in a traditional pottery workshop. Afternoon, visit the famous Goreme Open Air Museum and see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia in rock-cut churches with frescoes and paintings (10th to 13th century). Continue to Uchisar Rock-Castle to have a panoramic view of the valleys of Cappadocia. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight Cappadocia

Day 11

Cappadocia by flight to Istanbul (B)

Transfer to Cappadocia (Kayseri or Nevsehir) airport and take the flight from Cappadocia to Istanbul airport. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Free afternoon. Overnight: Istanbul.

Day 12

Istanbul (B)

After breakfast full day shopping and Asian side visits included.

Day 13


Free day at leisure.

Day 14

Istanbul – Departure (B)

Transfer to the airport for return flight.
